Raised relief

visualize mountain ranges and plains by attempting to show elevations and
depressions. Raised relief globes are not "to scale" because we are
viewing a representation of the Earth that is typically reduced to a 12" or 16"
ball. The raised relief would be virtually invisible if a scale
representation were attempted. Raised relief globes are among the most
