In 1929, Frank Lloyd Wright made his first foray into the world of mass producing his designs, for the Leerdam Glass Company in the Netherlands.  He designed sixteen pieces of crystal for the Dutch company, including a line of drinking glasses, a full dinnerware set, and 2 flower vases.  Unfortunately, his designs proved to be too complicated for the glass blowers to produce, and only one flower holder was ever fully realized.  The other vase now comes in the form of this beautiful globe from Replogle - the Obelisk.

Featuring a classic 16" antique ocean globe ball set in a breathtaking stand made of cherry and hard maple, this globe will make an excellent addition to your home or office. The globe ball is made from 100% reclaimed paperfiber, and features raised relief mountains, as well as over 4000 place name labels.

This package also qualifies the buyer to participate in the factory-direct updatable globe program which allows one to replace the globe with a new, updated globe when needed.
