orbicular sphere, circular meridian and full horizon ring of this model.
Overall construction of the stand is top-notch & will compliment other high
quality pieces. Note the understated yet refined touch of the dark inlay
bordering the base of the globe stand.
The globe ball is made from 100% reclaimed paperfiber, and
features raised relief
mountains, as well as over 4000 place name labels. Current
cartographic map detail is attractively colored with parchment-colored 'antique
oceans' and complimentary earthy-tones. Globe is surrounded by a high quality
die cast meridian, fully calibrated in 360 surrounding the sphere.
