A 3,222 lb. globe made of Impala granite from South Africa floats on a cushion of water.  The 4,800 lb. base is Carrera marble from Italy, the same kind of marble from which Michelangelo sculpted. The 36 inch black granite floating sphere is located in Fort Worth, Texas, at the Baptist Theological Seminary's Bryce English Garden.
