Summit's convenient 34" height make for easy viewing from a favorite comfortable
chair.
The highly detailed, 12" diameter political world globe features a new hybrid
globe ball design adapted from a more recently practiced European construction
process that produces a seamless globe with crisp, clean cartography and no
visible creases or cross cuts. The plastic hybrid globe ball combines a vibrant,
fresh look with a new level of accuracy that traditional paper globes typically
lack. The globe comes with an up to date map printed on it, but also can be
replaced with an updated map at a later time, through the factory-direct globe
update program.
A fully calibrated metal meridian secures the globe at the Earth's natural 23.5
degrees of tilt, while also allowing globe to swing in all directions. Stand is
designed in such a way that gives an unobstructed view of the globe ball. The
Summit's 3 leg base ensures a stable footing on imperfect surfaces.
