The Squire Floor Globe features a decorative pedestal design
with traditional styling. Perched atop the pedestal stand is a very unique
meridian design that holds a beautiful bronze metallic colored globe ball. A
most visually appealing globe that is hand crafted from oak and steel.
Each globe stand is
painstakingly hand produced and signed by the original designer J.P. Roberts
here in the United States. The combination of form and function is evident
with this globe as it features an adjustable swivel mechanism that allows
you to tilt the globe 180 degrees for easy viewing of the southern
hemisphere.
The handcrafted stand of red oak with distressed cherry finish and hand
rubbed steel meridian is complemented nicely with Replogle's Bronze Metallic
globe ball. This combination of rich hues of cherry, rubbed steel, and
bronze metallic inks give this globe a pleasant rustic look and feel. The
globe features accurately formed raised relief mountains, which enables one
to feel the mountain ranges of the world. Each globe features over
4,000 place name labels.
