Floor Globe
This very unique globe is
handcrafted of wood, steel, copper, and iron. The merging of these materials
results in a stunning piece of art that would fit right in at many of the
worlds most prestigious galleries. The Magellan Floor Globe has been
expertly crafted and features a sturdy base produced from solid red oak with
a distressed cherry finish and hand-rubbed steel. From the base extends a
2" diameter column constructed of copper with a rich bronze finish that is
separated by a cast iron break.
Each globe stand is
painstakingly hand produced and signed by the original designer J.P. Roberts
here in the United States. The combination of form and function is evident with
this globe as it features an adjustable swivel mechanism that allows you to tilt
the globe 180 degrees for easy viewing of the southern hemisphere.
The sculpted stand of solid red oak with distressed cherry finish, hand rubbed
steel, and copper is complemented nicely with Replogle's Bronze Metallic globe
ball. This combination of rich hues of cherry, rubbed steel, and bronze metallic
inks give this globe a pleasant rustic look and feel. The globe features
accurately formed raised relief mountains, which enables one to feel the
mountain ranges of the world. Each globe is up to date with the most
current political data, features over 4,000 place name labels, and is made from
100% reclaimed paperfiber. Add a touch of
