Congratulations to Suzanne Burnett, the winner of our September 15th drawing who is from Albany, OR.  Suzanne sent us a very nice note after receiving her gemstone globe.  She says, "Wow!  A note to tell you we have received the Gemstone Globe.  It came quickly and weathered the journey in fine order.  Our jaws dropped when we opened the package as it is absolutely exquisite!  My husband and son were in seventh heaven pouring over every inch of the globe.  The delight on my 5 year old son's face was worth a million dollars alone!  He loves to sit and marvel at its beauty while touching it with great reverence.  This is such a spectacular and beautiful addition to our home.  I still cannot believe our good fortune.  Thank you so very much."

Congratulations to Elizabeth Hauck, a geography teacher from Edgartown, Massachusetts, who won the Lapis Gemstone Globe given away in our March 15th drawing.  After receiving her globe,  Elizabeth wrote "Just wanted to let you know that the globe arrived in perfect condition. It is really beautiful and I can't wait to take to school and use it with my students. I am sure that they will be excited to find the countries we are studying on your globe as opposed to the "school globes" we usually use. Congratulations to John-Mark Brown of Talbott, Tennessee, who won the 16" Stafford Floor Model in our September drawing.  John-Mark's comments when entering the drawing were:    "I'm in the eighth grade and my brother's in fourth and we both like geography.  My dad plays games with my brother and me with our old globe.  We'd love to win one of your cool globes because some things have changed and aren't right on my dad's old globe."
John-Mark's mom contacted us to say that he was thrilled.  We are thrilled that John-Mark's name was drawn and that such geography enthusiasts will provide a home for this floor globe.

Congratulations to Deborah Lund of Bellingham, Washington!  Deborah's name was selected as the winner of the 8.7" Onyx Gemstone Globe on December 15, 2002.  When notified of her win, Deborah responded by saying:  "What a lovely surprise to be chosen as a winner of one of your beautiful globes!!  I am thrilled!!  It will be a perfect addition to my home!!".  After hearing that she would receive the globe by Christmas, Deborah wrote: "To receive it for the Christmas holiday will be just wonderful!!!  I really am so excited to have won this globe, this is the first thing I have ever entered and won!"
We are thrilled to have a winner from our home state of Washington.   We know this globe has found a good home!


Congratulations to 11 year-old Seth Murphy of Woodland, Alabama!!  Seth's name was selected in our September 30th drawing, his comment to us when he entered the drawing:  "This is the coolest looking globe I've ever seen!"  We spoke with Seth's mom when she called to confirm his win and she said the globe will go in Seth's room, which is filled with maps...  He sounds like a real geography enthusiast, and we think he just might be the only kid on his block to have a globe like this!

 

Congratulations to Thomas Ciravolo of Aiken, SC who won May's drawing for The Sidra 12" desk globe from Eureka.   Thomas had no comments when we notified him of the win, but he did provide his shipping address.  We hope we'll hear something from him when he receives his beautiful globe.
