The Mars Topography Globe
Picture yourself climbing huge volcanoes, crossing complex canyon systems,
and rafting down monstrous flood channels with this first-ever globe
portraying the red planet's terrain. More than 300 million altitude
measurements from NASA's Mars Global Surveyor spacecraft have been
incorporated into the color-coded elevation scheme of the MOLA (Mars Orbiter
Laser Altimeter) Topographical globe. The 12-inch globe includes 140 labeled
features and was produced in cooperation with NASA and the U.S. Geological
Survey. Also includes informative 16 page booklet.
