operates on 4 AA batteries (included) and features auto shut-off.
This 12" political globe features up-to-date award winning cartography from
National Geographic. A fully calibrated antique pewter-plated semi-meridian
holds the globe a atop a decorative satin nickel base.

details include over 4,000 place names, countries represented in contrasting
colors, delineated U.S. states, and major rivers. Warm and cold
ocean currents are also labeled, ocean depths are represented with shading.
Time dial is featured at the North Pole.
