The globe ball used on this is a high quality, fully detailed political map featuring raised relief mountains and over 4000 place name labels. Special touches on the map include soft borders (aesthetically pleasing method of shading countries) and subdued drawings of historical journeys. Very nice earth-toned palette is used on this antique ocean globe. Full meridian is a die-cast, calibrated, antiqued brass 1 piece unit, among the highest quality available.
