4,000 place names. Each country is colorfully displayed in contrasting
colors. Detailed political cartography is complimented with additional data
including ocean currents and major rail, air, and see routes. Globe sits in
a sturdy brass toned fiberglass semi-meridian resting on a beautifully
finished solid walnut wooden base.
Innovative dual map cartography
allows you to view a different map when the globe is illuminated, turn on
the globe to reveal a stunning physical map of the world that displays
mountain ranges, valleys, and plains as well as ocean depths. Topographical
relief is represented with detailed shading and color tone variations to
indicate elevation.
Each globe is expertly handcrafted in Germany by
Columbus Globes.
