[Tellurian with 16 boom]. Tellurian supported by a 12-sided nickel-plated iron
base with scale of the months, quarters and zodiac signs. Ebonized wood column
supports large six inch gilded steel sphere representing the sun with small
moon-like satellite, from which extends a 16 aluminum boom supporting a
terrestrial 3.5 globe with moon sphere. As boom swings, mechanical gears move
spheres (functions well.) Boom has inset compass. Gores show Austria-Hungary and
German colonies in Africa. Globe surface damaged with tape. Scarce complete.
