Chicago World's Fair Souvenir Globe

German. Anonymous. Untitled. [miniature souvenir paperweight globe]. 

Transfer painted 1.75" orb German 'kitsch" globe showing the pre-1918 world, mounted later on a cast aluminum black finished body by the B.& D. Products Co., Chicago, as a souvenir to sell at the 1933-1934 Chicago World's Fair. Base when twisted reveals views of buildings at the fair. Chicago. c1932. Same design as I.D.#07517, different finish and manufacturer.
