Coated paper gores over
plaster. No time dial. Oceans finished in olive green with Ecliptic, tropics of
Cancer and Capricorn and analemma. Ornamental cast iron stand by R. Gair, N.Y.
with demilune ferule with raised incised comb atop tripod stand nickel plated.
Africa shows Orange Free State (1902). Simple map surface that shows all foreign
trading company regions in Africa. Ferule welded, orb professionally restored,
some surface losses. Attractive small desk size, with extraordinary stand.
