6.5" transfer painted
hollow tin orb in many colors. Oceans finished in olive green. Unusual surface
showing ecliptic but no equator, International Date Line and a few nautical
distances. Surface shown without either compass rose or title. Stamped metal
transfer painted full meridian over simulated columns and Atlas figure
supporting the earth, base finished in blue with colored scales depicting the
seasonal equinoxes and zodiac signs. Shows Manchukuo but Europe and Africa
before nazi and fascist expansions. Totally different surface than following
year (I.D.#07320) despite identical mount. Fine condition.
