5" transfer painted steel orb, time dial at North Pole. Oceans finished in dark blue gray with Equinoctial Colure, Ecliptic, Graf Zeppelin and Lindbergh flights, and nautical distances. Hollow steel half meridian raised from octagonal pressed steel base finished in dark woodgrain brown. Base with table of overseas short wave stations in yellow band. Shows independent Manchuria but Leningrad and post Versailles Europe. Premium of the American-Bosch Radio Explorers Club. Orb surface darkened and stained. Rare.
