Coated paper gores over
plastic. Time dial at North Pole goldtoned removing numbers. Oceans finished in
olive green with International Date Line Equinoctial Colure, ocean currents and
a few nautical distances. Cast metal goldtoned full ring meridian on carefully
crafted wood full mount with chamfered horizon ring raised by three bold turned
legs. Ebonised finish, perhaps custom made. Shows undersea topography, United
Arab Republic only Egypt. Overall effect is of a globe much older than its date
of elegant design. Drilled for a lamp not present. Rare and unusual. No
cartographer credited.
