Radio. "His Master's Voice" around the world. [Ohio Art Co.] [Bryan,
Ohio]. c1935.
7 inch tin orb transfer
painted in four colors. Simplified map surfaces with oceans finished in medium
blue, lacking North Pole time dial. Mounted within spring steel conforming
ferule fixed to octagonal pressed tin base. Base silvertoned and lettered with
advertising message and list of all the major short wave stations of the world.
Manchuria not yet shown as occupied but mid-1930's. Upper pivot damaged,
hemispheres do not quite register, surface fading and pitting to mount.
