Transfer painted steel orb
with time dial at North Pole. Unsigned, with oceans finished in gray. Attributed
to The Ohio Art Co., Bryan, Ohio. Hollow pressed tin full ring meridian raised
on an octagonal pressed tin base that is finished in red and yellow with the
zodiac periods, the months, the seasons and equinoxes. Airline distances show
routes of the Lindbergh N.Y. to Paris 1927 flight and the Graf Zeppelin World
Flight of 1929. Rare and in very fine condition.
